How do I purchase a uniform?

Visit our online uniform shop, select your preferred items, add them to your cart, and proceed to checkout. Follow the prompts to complete your purchase.

Or you can attend a Sharks Basketball Club Family Day which are run twice each year. Uniform try-ons and sales are available during these events. Dates, times, and locations are advertised via email and on our social media channels.

Can I try on uniforms before purchasing?

Yes. Sharks Basketball Club organises uniform try-on days throughout the year. Dates, times, and locations are advertised via email and on our social media channels.

Sizing charts are also available on each product page. We strongly recommend reviewing the sizing information carefully before placing your order to ensure you select the correct size. As exchanges are subject to stock availability and cannot be guaranteed, choosing the correct size at the time of purchase is important.

Returns are accepted within the applicable return period, provided items are unused, in their original condition, and returned with all original packaging. For all refund enquiries, please contact the Uniform Coordinator at uniforms@sharksbasketballclub.org.au.
What if I receive a damaged or incorrect item?

Why does the Club recommend teams of eight players?
Teams of eight players give teams the best chance of consistently fielding a full, competitive side on game day and enjoying the season without unnecessary stress.

Support player welfare

Train more effectively

Reduce stress around availability

While seven players may seem workable on paper, in practice it leaves very little margin for normal absences. Across a season, it’s common for players to miss games due to:

Illness or minor injuries

School, work, or family commitments

Holidays

Clashes with other sports

With only seven players, one late withdrawal can put a team at immediate risk of playing short or not being able to take the court. For these reasons, teams of eight give everyone the best chance to enjoy the season and take the court each week ready to play.
Can we still register a team with seven players?

Yes. Teams can choose to register with seven players, but the Club strongly recommends eight players because it provides the most reliable, competitive, and enjoyable experience across the season.

During the registration period the Club or AGCs may reach out to the team/TM with a player to consider as an eighth member of the team. The Club kindly requests that if there is uncertainty around a new addition to the team, that an invitation to attend a team training session is offered to the prospective player before a decision is made.

Teams that remain on seven players during the season may incur additional costs, including but not limited to forfeit fees or walkover charges imposed by the competition. The forfeit fee stands at $100 which includes the current forfeit fee of $72.50 plus Club administrative costs. These costs are the sole responsibility of the team and will not be subsidised by the Club.
