Volunteer Registration - Beaumaris Sharks Basketball Club

It is mandatory that all coaches, team managers, volunteers and officials of the Club complete the registration requirements detailed below.

As such, evidence of meeting these requirements must be recorded on the Operandio record management system.

So please ensure that your compliance is maintained at all times in line with Child Safety requirements, SBA and Sharks provisions.

To register and be compliant you must complete the following:

Obtain a Working with Children Check here.
The Sport Integrity Australia ‘Play by the Rules’ courses (each course will take approx. 20 minutes to complete):
PBTR Child Protection & Safeguarding Course here
PBTR Harassment and Discrimination Course here.
Register (for free) using Playhq, which includes your WWCC and A Member Protection Declaration with a Statutory Declaration.
Coaches are also required to have completed the Coaching Participation Course (at a minimum) – previously Community Coaches course.

The certificates of completion for all courses must be loaded onto Operandio. After completing these requirements you will be “compliant”.
