Player Development

The Beaumaris Sharks Basketball Club is part of the Southern Basketball Association’s (SBA) domestic program. We provide an opportunity for players to commence their basketball journey and develop their skills and love for the game.

We embrace players of all abilities and promote community participation in sport for all.

The Domestic Program is the entry level into a player pathway which includes the Junior Representative program and beyond. See here for the SBA Player development pathway.

There are a wide range of opportunities for individual players to develop their game. Listed below are a few options we recommend.

Hoopsmart camps and programs offered locally
Mark Bradtke skills coaching at Jump Central for domestic and representative players ages 9 to 16 years. Wednesday from 4.30pm and Saturday from 8am. Enquire at info@mitennis.com.au.
